The bookstore features English books and magazines, specializing in novels set in the Dominican Republic, its history, culture and politics, as well as children's books and other materials for second-language teachers.
It's an ideal spot for the local community and those visiting from abroad to meet and learn from each other, to break down the barriers between the town and the surrounding resort areas.
